We are excited to share that The Regenerate Society, Inc. has welcomed the largest single Training Camp class in our history, with NINE new members joining our organization! This historic addition brings fresh energy and talent, and we can’t wait to see the impact each of them will make.
Training Camp is a program designed to fully immerse new members in our mission, our work, and each other. Through structured sessions, skill-building trainings, and team-building activities, our new members got an in-depth introduction to who we are, what we do, and the communities we serve. Each week brought new challenges, insights, and connections as they engaged wholeheartedly, getting to know not only the organization but also their fellow Training Camp members.

In this Training Camp class, we were proud to welcome:
♻️ Mya Alston (UAB) - Birmingham, Alabama
♻️ Aniyah Brown (Johnson & Wales) - Birmingham, Alabama
♻️ Macahi Cooley (UAB) - Montgomery, Alabama
♻️ Raiya Goodman (UAB) - Houston, Texas
♻️ Lilyan Mims (UAB) - Spanish Fort, Alabama
♻️ Trinity Perdue (Washington & Lee) - Birmingham, Alabama
♻️ Grayson Pugh (UAB) - Birmingham, Alabama
♻️ Jacob Smitherman (UAB) - Birmingham, Alabama
♻️ Ta’Nya Wright (Miles College) - Birmingham, Alabama
To celebrate the completion of Training Camp, we held the 2024 RS Draft at Jim 'N Nick's in Homewood for the first time as a public-invited event. During this exciting event, each new member was drafted into one of our five divisions (Activism, Business, Creative Arts, Health & Wellness, & Outreach), officially welcoming them into their roles and marking the start of their journey with us.

After the Draft Lottery began the night and the first round order was announced, Creative Arts drew the first pick and we were off to the races as divisional leaders were now on the clock to make selections. With each member's preferred divisions, personality types, and division goals in mind, RS selected each individual to ensure that rookie was set up for success. It was a memorable night as we announced each name in draft order, recognizing the unique strengths each member brings to the team.
FIRST ROUND
1. Creative Arts - Macahi Cooley
2. Outreach - Lilyan Mims
3. Activism - Raiya Goodman
4. Business - Grayson Pugh
5. Health & Wellness - Mya Alston

SECOND ROUND
6. Business - Ta'Nya Wright
7. Creative Arts - Trinity Perdue
8. Outreach - Jacob Smitherman
9. Activism - Aniyah Brown

"This is where I wanted to be. This was my first pick and I am excited to build this division from the ground up!" expressed Grayson Pugh after his pick by the reactivated Business division.
"I think it's one of the sleeper divisions, and I am excited to get in and get to work!" were the words of the Creative Arts's second round selection, Trinity Perdue.
As we welcome our newest class, we’re filled with optimism and excitement for the year ahead. Their passion, dedication, and unique talents will be invaluable as we work together to make a lasting difference. Stay tuned to follow their journey and see the positive impact we’ll make together as The Regenerate Society, Inc. continues to grow and thrive! ♻️
