divisional focus
Our Activism Division seeks to address the lack of understanding of how to bring effective change to underserved communities through human rights.
Serving since 2018, our Activism Team has worked diligently to create opportunities where our community can feel seen, spoken for, and challenged whenever necessary. Beginning with our Knowledge is Power Book Drive and introduction of the Juneteenth Festival to the University of Alabama at Birmingham, this division has taken steps to cultivate relationships with The Birmingham Foot Soldiers, National Juneteenth Observance Foundation, City of Birmingham's City Council, and Hipped Interests, in efforts to better serve, educate, and activate the underserved populations of Birmingham.
