About the event
Food Club at Washington K-8 School
Hosted by the Health & Wellness Division of Regenerate Society, Inc.
Empowering fourth-grade students to make informed, healthy choices, the Washington K-8 Food Club brings hands-on learning and interactive activities into the classroom. Students engage in activities like food-tasting, live cooking demonstrations, budgeting exercises, and even friendly competitions that make learning about health and wellness exciting and memorable.
Held at Booker T. Washington K-8 School in Titusville, where food deserts impact daily life, this project connects students with valuable lessons on nutrition and budget-conscious choices that ripple into their families and the broader community. Recognized as our "Project of the Year" in 2022 and 2023, this initiative has received significant community support and leadership acknowledgment.
