About the event
Birmingham thrives when its residents are informed and engaged in the legislative process. Councilors at Work is a community-driven initiative by our Activism team, designed to give residents a firsthand look at how city leaders make decisions that impact our neighborhoods.
On the first Tuesday of each month, we step into City Council meetings—and we’re inviting you to join us! This initiative not only provides a front-row seat to the decision-making process but also fosters open dialogue, empowering individuals to share their voices and concerns about Birmingham’s future.
By creating this shared space for observation and conversation, we hope to deepen community involvement in local governance and build a network of informed and engaged citizens ready to shape their neighborhoods’ futures.
